Terms of Service

Orbital Command is an online gaming community. These terms cover this website, the Orbital Command application, and the Houston community bot (together, "the Service"). By using the Service or joining the community, you agree to these terms.

Membership

Membership is by application and offered at Command's discretion. We may decline, suspend, or remove membership at any time — most often for conduct that makes the community worse for others. Competitive play is welcome; ego management is mandatory.

Acceptable use

Communicate in good faith, coordinate with your teammates, and keep it low-drama. Do not harass others, cheat or exploit games, share anyone's private information, or disrupt events, comms, or the Service. Follow the community's operating protocols.

The Houston bot

Houston is an automated assistant operating inside the Orbital Command Discord server. By participating you consent to its automated messages — roll call, RSVPs, mission briefings, reminders, and standings. It acts only within the server it has been added to.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit (applications, messages, match reports). You grant Orbital Command permission to use that content to operate the community — standings, recaps, rosters, and the like.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Games, schedules, and results depend on third parties and on people showing up. To the extent permitted by law, Orbital Command is not liable for losses arising from use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
